Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-05

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Bradenton Electrical Contractors website at bradentonelectricalcontractors.com ("the Site"). By using the Site, the visitor agrees to these Terms. If the visitor does not agree, the visitor should not use the Site.

1. About the Directory

Bradenton Electrical Contractors operates a local directory of electrical contractors serving Bradenton, FL and the surrounding service area. The Site provides informational content about electrical services, lists local electrical contractors as citations based on public business records, and offers a phone connection service at (941) 208-3886.

The directory does not perform electrical work. Electrical work is performed by licensed Florida electrical contractors who are listed on the Site or who are connected to callers through the directory phone line.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Visitors may browse the Site, view content, and use the contact form for legitimate inquiries about electrical services.

Visitors may not: use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content from the Site; submit false information through the contact form; use the Site to send unsolicited communications; attempt to interfere with the Site's operation; or use the Site for any illegal purpose.

3. No Professional Relationship

Use of the Site does not create a contractor-client relationship between the visitor and Bradenton Electrical Contractors. Any contractor-client relationship is formed directly between the visitor and the licensed Florida electrical contractor the visitor engages — whether listed on the Site or connected through the directory phone line.

4. Intellectual Property

Site content — including text, layout, design, and branding — is the property of Bradenton Electrical Contractors or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Visitors may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

Business names, addresses, and phone numbers listed in the directory's citation blocks are factual public business information and are not claimed as the directory's intellectual property. Each listed business retains all rights to its own name and brand.

5. Informational Content Only

Content on the Site about electrical services, code requirements, common issues, Florida-specific considerations, and similar topics is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed Florida electrical contractor or other qualified professional.

Electrical work — including but not limited to panel upgrades, EV charger installation, generator installation, rewiring, and inspections — should be performed only by a licensed Florida electrical contractor. Florida law requires permits for most non-trivial electrical work, pulled by the licensed contractor performing the work.

The directory does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any informational content. Visitors should verify any specific information with a licensed electrical contractor before acting on it.

6. Listings

Each service-area page on the Site lists local electrical contractors operating in that city. These listings are sourced from public business records (including but not limited to Google Business Profiles) at the time the page is built or updated.

The directory does NOT screen, vet, rate, certify, or endorse any listed contractor. Listings are not a recommendation. The directory does not warrant the licensure status, insurance status, work quality, pricing, availability, or any other characteristic of any listed contractor.

Visitors should independently verify any contractor's Florida electrical license through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) before engaging the contractor. Visitors should also verify insurance, references, and pricing directly with the contractor.

If a listed contractor wishes to be removed from the directory, the contractor may submit a removal request to the contact information at the bottom of these Terms. Removal requests will be honored within 30 days of receipt.

7. Phone Line

Calls to (941) 208-3886 are answered every day from 8 AM to 9 PM. Calls may be routed to a participating local electrical contractor based on the caller's location and the nature of the inquiry. The directory does not perform the electrical work itself.

Any agreement for electrical services — including pricing, scheduling, scope, warranties, and payment — is made directly between the caller and the licensed Florida electrical contractor providing the service. The directory is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for its performance.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRADENTON ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SITE OR ANY ELECTRICAL WORK PERFORMED BY A LISTED OR CONNECTED CONTRACTOR.

The directory's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred dollars (USD $100).

These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and survive termination of these Terms.

9. Indemnification

The visitor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bradenton Electrical Contractors and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of the visitor's use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or use of the Site shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Manatee County, Florida, and the visitor consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
